Our Booking Process
When hiring a wedding florist, the booking process can feel overwhelming. Every studio approaches design, pricing, and timelines a little differently. Our goal is to make the process clear, collaborative, and well-supported from the very beginning, so you always know what to expect.
At Valley Bloom Co., we create intentional, elevated wedding florals rooted in a single design vision. We take pride in thoughtful communication, refined design practices, and a seamless experience from inquiry through wedding day. Below is an overview of our booking process, from your first message to walking down the aisle.

Inquire With Us
If you haven't already. please fill out the inquiry form on our website. We’ll review your inquiry to confirm availability and ensure we’re the right fit for your wedding. If so, you’ll receive a link to schedule a virtual consultation to discuss your floral vision, priorities, and next steps.

Consultation
During a virtual consultation, you’ll meet with Abby, owner and lead designer of Valley Bloom Co. This meeting is focused entirely on your wedding florals. We’ll talk through your overall vision, style, colour palette, and priorities, as well as how florals will be used throughout the day. We’ll also review your needs, wants, and budget range to determine how we can best support your celebration.
How to prepare for our meeting:
To make the most of your consultation, we recommend coming prepared with a general colour palette, an estimated floral budget range, and a rough idea of the floral pieces you’re considering. A Pinterest board or inspiration images are always helpful, but not required. These details allow us to provide thoughtful guidance and outline next steps. Design details can continue to evolve, but securing your date is the priority.

After Your Consultation
Your wedding date will be softly held for 7 days. During this time, you can decide whether to move forward with booking our floral services. To secure your date, a signed contract and a $750.00 retainer are required. This retainer is applied in full to your final invoice.

When You Decide to Book
Once we receive your signed contract and retainer, we’ll begin developing your custom floral design. Within two months, you’ll receive a fully personalized floral proposal that includes detailed pricing, a tailored mood board, and inspiration imagery specific to your wedding.
You’ll have the opportunity to refine and adjust your proposal until everything feels aligned. Once finalized, you’ll digitally sign off on the design and pricing. At that time, a second payment of 50% of your total invoice is due.

Changes to Your Floral Proposal
• Design changes may be made up to 90 days prior to your wedding date
• Quantity adjustments may be made up to 30 days prior to your wedding date
